Saint Louis's longest running horror film festival!
The third year of the acclaimed Haunted Garage Horror Festival is upon us, and we're excited to crown the scariest storytellers!
We promise to thrill and excite with film submissions from all around the globe, presentations by horror experts, and the opportunity to meet and connect with other passionate artists. Same love as last year–but a little bit BIGGER.
The Haunted Garage Horror Festival is home to the Haunted Piston Awards. Last year, our haunted pistons were pulled from fatal car wrecks, cleaned, polished, and gold-dipped. These haunted objects were bestowed to the very best of the festival. This year, we have a surprise in store from our chief fabricator.
Slaughter, slasher, torture, suspense, thriller, creature feature, ghost, and possession are welcome! All selected films will be screened at the Hi-Point Theater's gorgeous, historical location. After the film, we invite each filmmaker in attendance to join the EMCEE on stage for Q&A with the audience.
Our festival features DEAD TALKS from Horror Experts in the field. This year, we're happy to welcome back Dr. Coltan Scrivner to the stage to discuss the science behind why horror villains look and act the way they do
We will kick off the festival by screening last year's "BEST OF FEST" winner, Black Mold, and check-in on stage with director and writers John Pata, on Thursday!
